I'm using the sifting method.....just like putting your good into a 3 chamber grinder to have the keif fall through screen to bottom. I watched a video on youtube on making hash and this seems easiest as I have the supplies needed. My question is about the bud. Do I dry the clippings first then freeze them? i bagged them up after trimming them off my buds and threw them in the freezer....any tips? should i pull them out and dry them out first? method of drying? then refreeze?

I'm not sure how you'd ever get all the trichs off that way, have you considered doing a quick-wash with ISO or Everclear, bubble hash, or BHO?
Take your mostly dried trimming throw in the freezer for a couple hours, cram it into a pickle jar with some 91% or higher isopropal alcohol (and inch or two in the bottom) and shake it up vigourously for a few minutes then strain it out through a fine metal screen into a glass dish then let it evap or speed it along with a blow dryer.
There's tons of videos on Youtube for this method, the Everclear method, or even making BHO (butane honey oil). IMO the best cleanest stuff is going to be bubble hash made with bubble bags, ice and water. Again tons of vids on Youtube and threads on RIU on how to do all these processes. Hope that helps. =)

i hear on the videos....the bubble hash doesn't look as easy in a video as I see people claim in their posts....one video is 8 segments long and it looks like a lot of elbow grease involved....i don't mind the work but the time to make it seems like more than i'm willing to give. my clippings just seem too damp and he never stated in the video i watched how he dried or if he dried prior to freezing.
