Has Opiate use permanently ruined my enjoyment of alcohol?!

I'm on the road the road of death. my closest internet friend can't speam to me and irl I hate people.

I have rehab day program soon once i piss tesst for a baseline. I don't think I can do it anympre. if she is lurking here I LOVE YOU

I'm afraid of being hooked on opiates, and I don't like what they do to me. I've had scripts for dental issues and for getting my appendix out- I couldn't take them for more than a day or so. Weed worked better for me and had fewer side effects, for real.

I get drunk fine. Too fine...

oc80s and roxy30s are the best drugs ever theyre so fire i want to be on them all day for the rest of my life and have no wds from them just super clean euphoria from them. oh my god i remember the first time i ever took an oc20 i was sprung off my ass the whole day i couldnt believe how good everything felt i was high the entire day and i had a fat smile on my face for a whole week after that, everything felt so good i remember walking and feeling the cold wind breeze on my body and yet i felt so warm inside and i could feel all the blood being pumped through my whole body and my heart beat every time. every step i took i just felt this subtle shock of euphoria and i had no cares in the world. i remember when i slept that night the bed even felt that way. fuck opiate tolerance because i know ill never feel that good off them again!!!

Me too. To this day I still take a strip of suboxene every day. But Tramadol ? We would just laugh at such a lightweight drug. And 7 months isn't that long.
Course, I was hooked on percs for 12 years so my perspective is different.
The first few years were kinda fun, then it turned to total shit.

The drug didnt cause the effects you describe.
And its not "that" lightweight of a drug
As i said.one standard 50mg pill is about the same in effect as 20mg hydrocodone with better analgesic effects and tripled half life....

For real when I finally kicked I would drink a glass of water 5-10 minutes later I'd shit it out could not stay hydrated for shit alcohol would have probably killed me. lol, But one guy I knew would drink when he was sick but he didn't get that sick I couldn't even eat, like 5 animal crackers I'd stop and try my hardest not to puke but I did buy fingers and that shit was strong not them cut up bundles I even heard of 2 dudes dieing from the shit at first I only needed a little line (at first lol) and $500 for a finger aint shit so you want to get high.

Some crazy shit though so many people getting busted with that shit I even told everyone about 1 informant and nobody fucking listens, just cause he sells heroin "Oh he can't be a rat" even though Whitey Bulgar was a fucking informant. Lol

have loved, do love, will always love my bourbon and pot no matter what else i do. .

I cant say its completely impossible. But i cant think of any reasons. Alcohol doesnt work on the same pathways either. And not like theres something cumulative
Ive never heard this from any patients either. But being an snri as well as having opioid action can cause some side effects not typically seen in opiates. Thats the only thing that can come into play as serotonin and norepinephrine do have roles in "feeling good" withdrawls will lead to some dysphoria and anti depressant withdrawl effects...

I would take it as a good thing, ethanol is terrible for you

thank you for the info. i know of someone who took Ambien and the same thing happened, but it makes more sense as Ambien effects the same receptors as alcohol does. it took a year or so for him to enjoy beer again

I was doin a g n half a day for a while, shits expensive, my brother told me to take subs but I didn't want to and figured I'd just cut back till I could use krantom to deal with the final wds

Ive took high dose opiates damm near every day for over 20 yrs , just chewed me an 80mg oxycontin about an hour ago & may end up getting hammered drunk tonight , havent made my mind up yet

Opiates have nothing to do with whats happening with you because Tramadol isnt an opiate its only classed as an opiate , me & my wifes dog got drunk as fuck the other night so i know its not the opiates , most likely that garbage has fucked the receptors in your brain up , its very hard on the liver & kidneys too .
