Good to know. I'm probably a month or so before harvest, normally I just hang shit around the house, ( puts the missus' in the mood to see it everywhere ) but my grandson will be staying with us after school for awhile, and I don't want him seeing it. Figure I can put this in a closet and it would be good, but I didn't want to waste money if it isn't any good.i've got one, they work ok, but they take up a good amount of room. the one i have will fill a shower stall from side to side....they're handy for all the smaller stuff, but i wouldn't put any big, pretty buds in them.
they have two things about them i don't like. the buds you lay in them will get flat spots on them, no matter how many times a day you turn them, which is why i say i don't like to put the big buds in it.
they're also a little hard to clean. you can vacuum them out while they're hanging, and get most of the stuff, but i wouldn't put them in a washing machine, and definitely not in a dryer. when they start to look dirty, i separate the sections ( mine clips apart into 4 2 tray sections) and mix some ro water 50/50 with 91% alcohol, spray them down with it really good, then spray them off.
they aren't that expensive....if they start to look too bad, i'll just shit can it and order a new one.

this is the same brand, but mine is only 2 feet, and has 8 trays...it's still holding up pretty good after almost two years
I generally just hang it to dry, but breaking it down into smaller nugs would not be bad either. I'm going to order one and give it a try. Thanks. They work well , especially when you break down big colas down to loose nugs ....
It allows those to dry evenly with all the other cut buds. It is always a good idea to breakdown the colas ( for jarring / drying ) so you are not risking mold inside a compacted cola.
My smoke NEVER gets bagged! Jars only. Mmmmmmm, fresh linen haze. Hell yeah! ......... you seem like a real fart smeller, I mean a real smart feller.Shouldn't be breaking your buds down until they are getting trimmed and bagged. I guess you could just spray em with febreeze though after you ruin em and tell everyone is Fresh linen haze
Instead of using the center hanging point, try attaching 3 or 4 strings to hang it up, should keep it level no matter how much you have in it.Mine Sucks, their built like garbage, No matter how you fill the racks oneside will become heaver than the other, Tip and all the racks components will be on one side on top of each other. In my climate that will most likely cause molds.
Greetings, not sure about some of the answers. I have a huge mesh drying rack in a 3x3 tent just for drying. Holds about 40 plants worth of bud. Most I ever had in it was 3LBows. I don't really use it often though. I'd rather use string and clothes pins in a spare tentThinking about buying one of those drying racks, but I don't know anyone who has used them. I was wondering if anyone has any input on these?
