Has Anyone Tried Kellog Premium Soil?

Well its been a year since I last grew. Some of you know I was hit by a car Nov26th 2010 and was unable to grow. Now I got some seedlings going. I don't have much of a income now so I been on a budget. I am not happy with the soil I am using now for my seedlings it is a little to heavy on the nutrients.

So has anyone tried Kellog Premium soil? Did you like it? How is it with Seedlings?

If not could anyone recommend a cheaper soil that would be good for seedlings? I was thinking of buying some pucks to start my seedlings in then once they are reading to be put into a pot use a soil. So does anyone have any recommendations for someone on a budget looking for soil thats good for seedlings?

I will also need to buy a soil for the final transplant. Since Fox Farm costs you a arm and a leg do you know of any similar soil that would be good? I heard that the Kellog Premium is very similar to Fox Farm Ocean Forest and would be great soil for the final transplant.

But I am more concerned with getting a good soil for my seedlings because the Soil I am using now is a little to heavy on the nutrients. Reason I bought it is it is cheap and worked for me before. But this batch seems not to be working so great. Also the PH is not at a desirable range.

So please give you soil recommendations. Thanks

Not the cereal the soil. Should I be surprised that was the response I would get? You think this being a site dedicated to Cannabis growing you would actually get a reply related to the question asked. Guess that's too much to ask.

I know that Metasynth and Dirrtyd both have used it. I have used it when I ran out of the other soil I was using and I didn't have any issues with it. It was Kellogs Patio Plus. I didn't use it for seedlings but I did for teens and they were fine. That's all the help that I could offer. :)

Not a problem at all man! Glad I could help out. PM Dirrtyd and see what he's done with it. I almost wanna say he has seedlings sitting in some now. His grow is in the Organic Forum. :)

I picked up a bag for $5 at Orchard Supply. Seems like the always have it on sale for no more than $7/bag.

I have not because it says Advanced Nutrients in it. I don't use their products so I had no inclination to click it. I will check it out now that I know it's more than just that interview. :)

Yeah I was doing a interview on a new product they made called Baddass balls. But know this, I am not promoting them or endorsing them. Any company/product I do a review on is just because its a new product, news worthy, or a product people love.

But that Interview is like 5% of the blog. But now that I said that I will change the link to something different. Maybe put up the Snoop Dogg got busted link. Because I do know the controversy with AN and some people hate them, some love them. I guess the snoop post would be good to link because well he is a celebrity and it involves a "drug"
