Has Anyone Switched Over to LED Lights?

Have you tried LED lights for growing?

Just curious to see if anyone has any stories about switching over to LED grow lights. Anything out of the ordinary with the buds? Are the plants healthy?

Recently saw an article about the savings of led lights, so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has had any experience with them.

Here is a link to the led grow lights I was talking about. With such a sensitive plant I am cautious to try anything new.

I tried it many years ago 2008 ish the blue/purple lights, I was not impressed. The technology has evolved and I'm looking at some COB lights, I dont know if its there yet for grows over 100 sq foot, but the smaller grows look impressive.

Doing a comparisonrun right now parus 330W vs hps 600W with cheese
On the scale end June so than we know
Some difference : lamp needs to hang very close to plants, only gets 25° hotter than roomtemperature
Will keep u posted but I have seen on dutch forums great results with crees like mentioned above

Thanks for all the input! I took the dive and purchased the ones in the link. I will let you guys know how they work in a few weeks! Will also check out the LED forum linked above.

Hopefully it won't turn out badly :cool:
