not worth making a new thread for this one question so ill just ask here

if you order seeds to a sate what dose not allow them and they are found in post what will the outcome be
will cops come to your door or just get a letter in the male saying item seized through customs
i've had a friend get one of those letters, he sent a copy of it to seedsman and they re-sipped his order, which he received the second time.
i saw the letter, it basically says "we caught you, stop it." ......i know he's received several more seed orders, from seedsman and other companies, and no more letters

Customs has neither the time nor resources to come knocking at your door for seeds lol.
They care more about bugs in fruit than your seeds.

i think they did quit taking american credit cards, at least for a while. check that out first if you want to make a big order. may have to get an international moneyorder or buy some bitcoin if you're comfortable doing that
Sept. 18, 2018 I checked to see whether Seedsman is accepting direct PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD. I live in the United States and have ordered (January 2018 8) from Seedsman, using a credit card for direct online payment. Very easy and smooth payment option.

Apparently, payment by credit cards from most countries are still being accepted, BUT NOT for orders originating from COUNTRIES WHICH IMPOSE LIMITING RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN FINANCIAl TRANSACTION METHODS: :wall:

Today's Seedsman list of those countries that impose limiting restrictions on payment methods includes the following countries::roll:
Argentina,
Brazil,
China,
Iran,
Israel,
Japan,
Pakistan,
Philippines,
Reunion,
Sri Lanka,
South Africa,
Thailand,
Turkey,
Vietnam.

There may be more added to this list, so be informed before committing to payment.

As Robert A. Shrubber advised previously......check first for the latest information on credit card payments before ordering. The preferred method is Bitcoin (which gives you large discounts and extra seeds). You can buy Bitcoin with your credit card.

:!: CAVEAT WITH BITCOIN: I have recently read of problems with using Bitcoin so I am avoiding using Bitcoin until those problems are completely ironed out (eg. lost/undelivered payments, no refunds, excessive transaction fees, no method of recovering information, overcharging without explanation/itemization). Bitcoin is still very new and controlled by one or two companies, so there is not enough competition to keep them honest or within reasonable transaction standards.

If you cannot use your credit card to pay directly, it would be worth your time and effort for peace of mind to pay by using other methods of payment (cash, bank transfer, money order, etc).

Happy growing!
