Has anyone ordered from amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com?

And, if you have,

How long did it take to receive your order?
Were the seeds/strains as described?

Looks like their affiliate program. People that made those links will get paid if you click on those, and buy seeds from AMS.

I was just interested in a few of their strains, no other place has them.
i never thought about it that way. still seems kinda shady haha

For a small fortune, you received some seeds and they germinated.

Hardly a ringing endorsement..... sorry, no offense.

I know for a fact,(long story) that site is a scam. If you've searched for seeds and have found yourself re-directed to that site.....think about it. Clever, for sure. Ethical, .... far from it.

Hahahaha.... I can prove it.

www.peakseed.com try to buy some seeds there, it will link you to the bullshit site.

www.peakseedsbc.com is a reputable breeder. Rated a 4 and a half star at www.seedbankupdate.com , been around for 10 years.

Can anyone explain this??... other than pure scam. This is just a small example of the tactics used by unscrupulous people taking advantage of the uneducated, ignorant or naive. Please, please, please....do your homework. Don't get turned off by the scumbags out there. Now more than ever, the righteous need to support each other.

On edit: took me 17 minutes, do you have a half hour?

If you look at the link on that site, you can see it's clearly an affiliate

affilid=367010296385
Here's how an affiliate site works:

(A)ECOMMERCE site wants more customers
(A)ECOMMERCE site sets up an affiliate script so people(B) can join and make money for reffering their friends or advertising it

Now what happens is
(B)PERSON signs up for affiliate site
(B)PERSON is an asshole and tries to make money by tricking people into clicking on links that they believe go to other sites but go to AMS

That isn't (A) doing that, that's the fault of (B.)

PeakseedsBC should e-mail AMS and the hosting company of peakseed.com. It's easy to stop... you just have to not sit on your hands.

I order white widow from AMS and it took exactly one month to receive my seeds order on 1-24-11 and received them on 2-24-11 just a two weeks ago I plated them, and all of them sprouted.

Ordered supernova from AMS in February 2012 and received them in late March 2012. Out of 10 of them three sprouted, got to one inch, looked deformed and died. They looked OLD and the quality looked bad. They will not respond. Their affiliates will not respond. It was almost a total bust except for the free seeds. WOOPEEEE........ I guess that 25%+ strain is just a myth to get people to buy. What a bummer.

I oredered from them my first time ordering seeds, and I never received anything back from them. They never replied back to my e-mails either. They are a scam imo. I ended up ordering from Attitude and have received 4 orders without any problems now. I'm sure there are some other good and reliable seedbanks out there too.

I don't know about them personally but...
Remember that you cannot please ALL the people ALL the time. The lack of customer service is what really is the most upsetting.
I once ordered from WeedWorld (a UK site) that impressed me enough to buy $350.00 worth of seeds. I bought 4 strains @10 seeds each (total of 40) and split this amongst myself and two other growers that I know. ALL of us had the exact same experiences and results. (1) Each and every seed cracked almost immediately (sign of fresh & viable), most taking less than 24 hours! 2) Every plant (except ONE) was a Hermie!!! No B.S. They all were Hermies.!!!! 3) The four strains looked exactly the same although 2 were Hybrids and 2 were Sativa. I mean exact, as if they were from the same batch. (4) The packaging was in little plastic round boxes with no indication of the original package material from the breeders apparent. Claims to the inclusion of these "proof" materials were part of the site's description. (5) They did ship in stealth fashion and the seeds arrived within 24 days (UK to CA/USA). (6) Seeds were (supposedly) from the CALI CONNECTION...
I tried several times to contact them and they finally answered my third try with "we do not provide information on growing techniques... to do so is illegal". No mention or acknowledgement of my pertinent question. Now in their defense, I did not order Feminized but was willing to take a 50/50 "normal" expected ratio. Cali Conn. didn't respond at all. I thought they'd be concerned as their name is on this. I won't buy from either.
I just posted all of this to show you that you're not alome. Bad things happen to good people.
Sorry...

AMS is a total scam ripoff!! I should have come to this site and done a little research. 2 mos and nothing but send more CASH , no CC, check or money order... pure BS .

I am self emloyed in the retail industry.
We sell online.
I have purchased several domains (.com, .net addresses) related to my business. When a potential customer lands on one of the secondary URLs, they get redirected to the main site. It's a very common internet marketing technique. Affiliate sites are similar, you always end up at AMS. com or wherever.
Props to their marketing dept for having a strong internet presence.
I just placed my first order from them, and now I'm researching them. Thats how I roll. :joint:
i never thought about it that way. still seems kinda shady haha

I refrain from ordering from Amsterdam. The US gets a very small amount of mail from there on a daily basis as opossed to England and the packages are more likely to draw suspicion.
