yeah, pistils don't last forever, especially when they're alone like that, without being packed together in a mass like a bud they can dry out pretty quick

no, but those are preflower pistils, they never make it to the end. the little calyxes they're attached to will though, and will get fatter just like a little bud

nope, those are preflowers, all it means is your plant is sexually mature, if you put it into flower right now, thats just what it'll do. you can continue to veg it, the larger a plant is when you start to flower it, the better, usually, or you can flower it now. the actual buds will grow at the end of the stems, not down in the crotches of branches like that

if the plant was actually starting to flower all over, and you put it back into veg, you'll have to wait for it to start growing normally again, it'll be full of flowering hormones that have to dissipate. it'll show strange growth, single fingered leaves, then 3, then back to five.
hovever, from the small area i can see in that picture, that plant doesn't look like its in flower, and those just look like normal preflowers

There just the pistols that grow to recognise the sex of the plants, it's nothing to worry about.

nah dude, thats not in flower, when you start to see masses of white hairs at your branch tips, thats in flower. those are just what i said, preflowers, and its just the plants way of letting you know its sexually mature. you can veg longer if you want, or you can put it into flower now.
mature plants produce two different forms of phytochrome (not sure if i spelled that right ) one in the day time, and a different form at night. they won't actually flower till the night time phytochrome build up to a certain level. thats why weed is called a photoperiod plant, the length of the day controls when the plant flowers.

if your timer was fucked up for a couple of days, thats not enough to put it into flower, unless it was just hovering at the edge anyway.
like i said, they have to build up a good supply of night time phytochrome, 2 days aint enough time unless they were already on their way. it usually takes a week to 10 days after i put a plant into my flower tent before it really starts to flower

From the size of the big branch visible you must have vegged for months. Tip discoloration is common as the plant matures and you "problem" isn't, IMO.

Good luck, BigSteve.
