I seen a straw bale gardening article today and thought it would be a fun thing to try. I can't grow weed in one because my neighbors probably wouldn't think that was cool, but I was wondering if anyone had tried it? It looks interesting and would think if you added amendments it would be fun to try. I'm just getting into organics. Started 2 vermicomposting bens a week ago, one in the basement and one outside. Have the compost pile going and am going to start by playing with my vegetable garden outside.
