Has anyone grown Dr. Underground seeds?

I'm growing Dr. Underground genetics of King Kong, Melon Gum, and Crystal M.E.T.H.

It's recommend that these strains don't get any Veg time due to it's very large yield and growth. I got to put them immediately in 12/12 light cycle. I got fluorescent light that I'm going to use on them as seedlings. I also got an MH and HPS and I want to know which one I should use. Please help.

P.S at the moment I have 3 strawberry Kush seedlings that are going to go into veg in 2 days. How can I manage 7 plants with an average of 650g/m^2 - 900g/m^2 in a 3x3. I figured growing more plants, I can cut back on veg time due to space. Unless I get a 4x4 but I would have to upgrade my lights and exhaust/intake fans.

Hey I got pain killer from Dr underground, they still are a week and half old I got the strain for it tranquillity effects but never tried it nor grown it. And I have a delahaze at the moment and a way to play with your plant hight is chop the main cola so it goes like this DSC_0056.JPG
Tho I did that by accident I was ment to tie it down lol but crack it went.... Apart (APPARENTLY) some grower do that to make the plant growd the lower branches to achieve an even top n slows the stretching. As for your space I'm not too sure how it works out lol allways was high in maths lol

As far as the light goes, if you're worried about the height of the plants, the MH would be your best bet, IMO. The MH will encourage tighter nodes and your plants will stretch less. HPS is more efficient, and your buds might be a little more dense, but MH is fine for the whole cycle too.

Yeah, MH works with either Indica or Sativa, and the nodes will be tighter but the genetics of the plant is going to have more to do with it than anything. I suppose the best light scenario would probably be a combination of HPS and MH, but I just run one or the other, or sometimes I run the MH for four or five weeks and then switch to HPS.

As long as you know that the plants are going to be tall, you can just flower them sooner, and that will keep the size down also. :)

I used an MH when I upgraded to 600 from 400 I had to use a metal halid but for me the brightness was good but I was put off by how it looks lol and I think it produces More heat it was allways warm so I changed to HPS.

Do you change your bulbs for flowering or do stay with same or is it dual spectrum? Forgive my stupid questions I'm just a student

I have been changing it to HPS for flowering, but I have been growing mostly Indica dominant strains until my most recent grow. I have some Pure Power Plant seedlings that, should at least one turn out to be female, will be flowered most likely under MH if they look like they're going to be bigger than I have space for. If anything, I might add an LED for more of the red spectrum during flower, but again, maybe not.

I have a blue 200 cfl for vegg and a 400 and 600 hps.... I really love it because cfl stretches em then when they go into flowering the first few weeks the don't really gain hight but the stem goes fatter first grow with the 600 tho.. Still a student lol

I would give crytal meth and melon gum at least 2 weeks of veg under a cfl , king kong is a slow vegger but when you put it in flo you know why they call him like that in the last 2 weeks the nugs become huge scrog sog etc he take everything and reward you with big yields the potency is ok but not like melon gum or crystal meth when i look back at it their strains their name tell you what you gonna have lol you can't go wrong with dr underground they have a solid reputation in spain and france

I'm still a student as well. I'm just using a Sun Blaze
May I ask what feed do you give you babies and at what age
I'm using Fox Farm Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom pretty much as directed as far as the ratio goes, except for the amounts. I start out with a super light feeding once the plants are at least two weeks old, but it kind of varies for me. I like to get the roots good and established before I start giving them nutes. That super light feeding I give them is 1 ml/g of Big Bloom and then 1/2 ml/g of Grow Big. That's not even 1/4 strength. I also give them 1 ml/g of CaliMagic, or maybe 1.5 to 2 ml/g.

I've started my last grow on the CaliMagic from seed, but my tap water has a very low ppm reading at 57-65. I use CaliMagic to try and get it to 125- 150. I try to gradually raise the ppm as the plant grows. I'm certainly not an expert though, I'm a student as well. You just have to be sparing with them, but not too sparing. It's a balancing act for sure. You have to get to where you can kind of read the plant and dose it according to what you see.

I've been doing DWC, so my dosages are really really light. There's no buffer for DWC plants, they're just right there in the solution, so they are really really easy to burn. I'm growing some in a soil-less mix now, so I might use slightly larger doses for these. You can get away with a little more, maybe 1/4 strength to start in a soil because the soil buffers it some.

i grew the mellon gum and tho buds wer not purple the leaves wer beautiful dark red and purple twords finish.. i vegged the original seed mother for 6 weeks to get her mature, then took clones and once rooted went right to 12/12.. i suggest giving clones a week of veg, not the best sog plant as they are more bushy but really beautiful to look at as the white crystals really sparkle among the green buds and colorfull leaves..good weed overall but not a great producer, finished in 58 days

Cool... I am really scared with the dosage, I mainly give them raw honey with water while young then at three weeks maker I give grow sure all round, at flowering it's molasses and honey lol and if they are a little pale.. What I found when less chems in it they come nicer flavour and strong stone.. This is my fourth grow it's my personal bits tho, but have a friend that has grown same strains as me with the super skunk, he neuked it like similar to your plan but maybe little more... The point is his buds were bigger but mine were stronger high tested on his gf lol, we used same soil can't speak about hydro n what not... Sweet love n care= sweet buds lol

Well my Dr. Underground seeds died cause I was too focused on my strawberry Kursk babies. I just realized that I was over feeding them a lil bit. I'm guessing that's why the youngest 2 are so small. But they sprouted a week and a half later than"big mama". I just topped them last night for the first time. Today is the beginning of week 5 of a two month veg. I got a question of Co2 supplement duration. I gotta 5 lb tank with a regulator and co2 hose. Now I seal my tent completely and give them co2 for 15 mins. I wait 15-30 after to turn my exhaust fans back on before the light gets them too hot. I need a way to boost the growth of them. My tent won't be full to do scrog technique. Plz give advice.
