Has anyone ever tried?

this may be true...but dude...if its such a bad idea then why has it been tried on other flowering plant. Which was a sucess from what I hear, flower growth was fine only thing that was stunted was the leaves and stems. You wouldnt be saying anything if I had pictures of a flurshing plant. I mean honestly why do you have to be so negitive about my attempt on creating something incredable. I gaurentee the first person who said they were gonna attempt to grow a tomato plant upside down was shuned upon and told it was impossibal. I mean, honestly if this is done correctly I belive it can work. I mean maby not with vodka but some sort of alochol this idea should work. I think the next time Im gonna try some wine or something.

holy balls. it seems like every other disagreement turns into personal attacks and flame wars. and to skitz: a plant needs three things: water, light, and occasionally some nutes. i really dont think alcohol would benefit the plant in any way other than killing mites/gnats.

think about this way... you pour the alcohol on the soil. soil absorbs the vodka. the roots theoretically will use the water that is in the vodka but will leave the alcohol/other useless garbage thats in the vodka. leaving salts and other types of nasty shit in your soil. no go for me dude

but best of luck to you anyways

hey thanks for the input! I mean I hear what your saying about the water, but like i posted a couple days ago it changed the smell. so it must mean the plant is actually drinking everything the vodka has. I was just talking about this with my old boss who happens to be one of those people who study plants. He said the bad thing about giving the plant vodka is that it dehydrates the plant. Which is something I thought about. But my main goal with this study is to find out if the plant can be flavored while it grows. So I decided why not try flavoring it with green apple vodka. I mean I love the flavor of green apples and vodka, and somehow hopped some Alcohol would be absorbed into the plant. But like other people said the Alcohol would be cooked out during smoking/cooking. I mean its a proven fact that cooking Alcohol lowers its effects, but Im not sure if smoking it while its absorbed into a plant would do the same. I mean whats the flash point of marijuana?
