Has anyone ever measured the root weight of a finished plant?

so i was wondering if anyone has ever measured just the root of a healthy plant after harvest?
I know its a weird question, but i want to know a rough number if possible from someone, I have a 20 bucket rdwc system and wanted to calculate how much water the roots are basically displacing at this point (2weeks to harvest) so i can give the correct nutrient formula.

It would be easier to measure from your reservoir and then divide by 20
see my issue is that my setup does not allow me to fully drain the system down to zero then fill it back up or else i could of easily measured it. What i do now is that i hook up my return pump to hose and dump the water out while feeling in fresh water from the res, i do this till the water ppm at the last bucket is basically clean water, however by doing this , i cannot measure exactly how much water is now in the total system.
Initially when i setup the system, i measured it to be 65 gallons of water, however, given that my 20 plants are about 4 to 6 feet tall i am sure they are taking up a bunch of the space in the buckets. I started to see tip and leaf burns while using the same dose of nuts that i started with, and this could be due to the water level now is , im guessing about 50 to 55 gallons , so i figured maybe someone here for the fun of it has measured the root weight and i could reverse calculate how much water 20 plant roots would displace. thats my story lol. thank u all

well, could you save the wastewater in a bucket and measure it, this should be equal than your water-intake
Hey, that is a pretty good idea :) , it would be a pain but should work, thank u. Im almost done with this grow so i will test it out before i throw the roots away for the next round. It just did not cross my mind that my nutrient burn was happening because i no longer was filling the system up with 65 gallons of water but was doing my math on the amount of nuts off of 65 gallons.
CHeers everyone, thanks for all the help .

^ use an ec pen and take out the guess work. I just finished my first dwc grow and having an ec meter was wonderful. No guessing how much the plant need nutes. Just look at what the meter says.

I had a 20 liter bucket and half way through flower I think I had 5 liters airspace, 10 liters of water and 5 liters of root mass in the buckets.

wow thats about half the water space taken up by the root mass. Thanks for sharing :)

2 gal res in a waterfarm and the whole thing is one big root mass when i'm done. no space at all.
That's why I think I was getting nutrient burn.
I kept dosing the nutrients @65gallons every time I did a water change not thinking that I no longer have 65 gallons and probably only have about 45 to 55 gallons of total water volume at max.

that could be possible. i would try your next go round with a max EC of 1.2 and see how you do. if you don't think 1.2 is enough, google heath robinson stadium grows. he's a master; all he uses is Ionic Bloom at 1.2EC. his results speak for themselves

this ionic feed looks interesting, have you used it before? They all say 1 part for veg and 1 part for flower then they have like 10 additional boosters lol

i wasn't impressed the last time i tried it. like most 1 part liquids, it tends to crystallize after awhile. and it needed alot of Mg if i remember

it really is a one part. i think the only other things Ionic makes is a Grow and PK13/14 if i'm not mistaken.

i got their feed chart and there are a bunch of stuff on there besides the 1 part nutrient.
but i think i will stick with general hydroponics 3 part / i ran this cycle as a lucas formula but next time im gonna use all 3 parts.
here is a pic of their feed chart.
