Has Anyone Bought from greners.com?

Basically, I was wondering if anyone has bought any items from greners.com?

They seem to have the cheapest prices around. My only troubles with them is that I've emailed them a few question and no one gets back with an answer (lame). I'd still consider buying off of them if you folks had something good to say.

I use their online prices + shipping to my area and take them to local hydro shops that match or beat prices. I visit their site often for price references, they do seem to have the best prices but I am yet to order from them

Thanks for the heads up Bajafox. I'll have to try that. In any case, greners has ignored me a second time. I guess they don't want my 1200 dollars worth of business. Shame on them.

Actually I wrote a complaint on their message board and someone promptly emailed me with a great quoted price. So I'll give them a call on pay day and work out the details. If this place you speak of bajafox has a website for sure email me. Unfortunately I don't live near cali and my closest hydro shop is a big local chain (they run the only hydro shops for about 60-100 miles away from me). Basically they got the market cornered.

Hope it works out through greners, I've been to a few hydro shops in San Diego and grenres has their prices beat or matched when you include shipping. The only reason I like going to a shop is the up front customer service.

Good luck, I'd be glad to see how the order went, I've been wanting to order from them but am yet to see a thread on someone who has

I personally know the people Greners.com. They are a small company ran by awesome people. They have have four people answering phone calls and emails everyday from 6am to 6pm. I highly doubt you didn't get any response to your email. Unless it was something stupid like "How much weed could a weed smoker smoke, if a week smoker could smoke weed?"

So if want Greners.com to be around to reference in 5 years give the guys your business, or else they will be gone...

I heard greners.com got caught selling weed in their shop in northern ca. That's probably why the prices were so low; because the business was all about money laundering and not sales numbers.

This guy above completely made that up, what does that say about him.

The amount of work that Greners.com has put into their order management software, contact management, website backend and frontend, videos, customer service training, warehouse layout, project software, shipping relationships, manufacturer relationships... people only do that kind of work to so customers are happy and have a good place to order from. Greners.com has an incredibly vested interest in having everyone be taken care of.

The same people probably think Zappos is ___ (insert something random) and your brain gets scanned at stop lights. Buttom line, Greners.com will answer the phone within a few rings and take care of you.
Kind of funny how this guy only has 2 posts on this site. Both of which are VERY much so supportive of that website. I would be willing to bet he is someone closely related to that site. ie - owner, worker, ect.

I just did an order from them. I had questions but got no reply. Then I went to getsatisfaction.com (its on their website) and I got a response that night. Turns out they have redone their website and are still ironing out the bugs.

I know this is an old post. Just wanted to place a vote for ehydroponics.com. I haven't used Greners (and haven't heard good or bad), but ehdyro has pretty good prices and do answer questions quickly. Just my .02.

It kinda screams "I'm the owner!!" I mean, who else would know the intimate details ("order management software, contact management, website backend and frontend, videos, customer service training, warehouse layout, project software, shipping relationships, manufacturer relationships") of their operation there. If you're the owner just say so; even better, talk to the Penguin about advertising here; we would love to have more good seed companies advertising here - as long as they pay for it. Gas, grass or ass; nobody rides for free.

I ordered two items on January 20, 2014. I called to see if they had expedited shipping and this is where I began to see I made a big mistake.

The man on the phone put me on hold for over ten minutes just to find out about shipping options. I finally hung up! I later got an email that the only option was overnight at a price of $238 ! I called back and politely asked if they could please ship my packages out as soon as possible. The very rude man on the phone sternly told me that the items would be shipped in the order they were received and there was no exceptions. Hope the call was recorded because this guy was REALLY rude!

Well five days later I checked the order status and the items haven't even left their warehouse!!!!

So, you purchase almost $400 of merchandise, ask them to please ship out as soon as they can, get a rude response and then realize five days later the items haven't left the warehouse yet.

I expected to be treated a lot better than this and I will NEVER do business with them again. At the very least they could have been polite on the phone. Get your act together Greners. Unless you fix this problem I will continue to review your site throughout the internet.

Yeah, yeah, they're a small company with great people (bullshit) I'm paying for your products and your shipping and customer service sucks, what more does anyone need to know?

They suck! Never buying from them again. Ordered some nutrients and pots $300+ and they never sent any confirmation numbers or fed ex tracking. The bottles arrived all leaky. When I called them they apologized but still never sent any confirmation to my email which I specifically asked them to do. I called them 3 times today to see when the rest of the nutes were coming. No answer. I placed the order 2.5 weeks ago!

My only experience with them was almost three years ago, they did ship the products bottom line. But not at the time frame they stated, and when I wanted to cancel my order they told me I couldn't. WTF? Don't like them and have never used them again and never will.

Basically they have a lot of inventory shown on their web site, but in actuality they don't keep that much physically and they order as customers place orders, so there is a lag in ship times, problem is they don't tell you that. Fuckem

A simple one item order at a comparable price is usually shipped the next day at the best sites, not here, they will take payment, but take over a week to ship a bulb. They don't seem to care.
