All I can say is that if they say it doesn't do much, they are grossly misinformed or have never used them. Use the search feature, and look up Mycorrhizae. (Myco=spore/fungus and rhizae= rhizome/root) Sounds like a bad thing but it's really a great thing. These "little beasties", as OhSoGreen is fond of calling them, are really quite fascinating. Mycorrhizal Fungi will establish a symbiotic relationship to the root systems of your plants. They act as an "interface" between the roots and soil, making plant uptake of nutes easier, and in some cases make nutes available that would normally not be assimilated by the plant. I used a product called Bio-Tone Starter Plus in my soil this time and I do believe I see a big difference so far in growth. My plants seem to be alot bigger, healthier and greener than the last grow without mycorrhizae. Bio-tone is a fertilizer (100% organic) with mycorrhizal fungi. There are stand alone products available tho like Myco-Stim (Organic Laboratories). OhSo, and Seamaiden can tell you more about others. Wikipedia has a great tidbit about them as well.
If the little fuckers exist in nature, then they NEED to be in your garden. Our whole mission is to re-create an environment as close to nature as possible for our plants. I believe that they are well worth whatever they cost.

I have seen and heard about alot of "secret methods" or secret ingredients" for growing dope (almost all bullshit). But if there ever was a "magic bullet", mycorrhizae is it!!! Just don't go telling EVERYONE. That way we will be the only ones who know the real secret. (Knowing wink) :bigjoint:

Dirtcurt, I'm sure it won't hurt, but IMHO you need to add them to your soil at the onset to realize the full potential benefits. I am digging up pics of my last grow at 3 weeks to compare to this grow (Now at 3 weeks also) I'll post 'em in another thread. You AINT GONNA BELIEVE the difference!!!

Hello. This stuff seems like it is def worth it, but my question is if i have just learned about this stuff and have already started to flower is it worth putting it on now?
I doubt it, its a rooting hormone for seedling/vegative/clones/revegative so...

Vbenny, lots of products say that they are "for flower/fruit", or for "rooting". It's just NPK after all. I compare this to the aspirin industry. They have ads for AM, PM, PMS, back, front, head and every other ailment imaginable, yet it all contains the same ingredient. It's just fucking aspirin!! (or ibuprophen)
I would think that any fert with a high P content would be good for rooting, AND flowering. These micro beasties are kinda the same. Late application certainly couldn't hurt, just that you'll only realize the full potential of benefits by incorporating them at the onset in your soil.

Welcome to the World of BactoFil® .......

Well, I red your questions and I know, we have to create some flyers about BactoFil® in English. We are working on it but to inform you earlier I will spend you an internal document in the first version.

BactoFil® Professional 1 & 2 are the products for our professional agriculture clients in a liquid formulation. Perls (Perlas) based on this product and are only implemented on this little granulate to offer the same bacterias to other groups of clients.

And to inform you, we are starting up the distribution of the new formulation POWDER.

Enjoy to read it and if you are interresed in more information use our page. Give us some weeks more and the page is runnig also in english. ;=)

Have fun with www.agrobio.eu
