i always wanted to film my plants and then watch it in fast forward to see it grow i know you can buy a 24 hour tap or disc or get a time laps camera then you can see when it likes to grow and what time a day when it grows

man there so many things you could learn just by watch it grow watch what happends when you spray and so on

yeah, but most of the videos only go on for the 1st month, I don't think I've seen any that go all the way through to the end of harvest.

Ive seen one go through a whole harvest, it was pretty cool. Looks like all they did was use a cheap QuickCam ($40) connected to a computer, and had a program on the computer taking frames at set intervals.

Its the same thing. Its just a camera taking less than 24 frames per second. You choose the set intervals that the camera records at, as well as the exposure, and thats it. Theres not really a time lapse camera specifically, its just a style of filming.

You can get the QuickCam, or other cheap webcam from any computer store. Then go to download.com and search for a free or cheap "time-lapse" software bundle: Search results for time lapse - Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com

It will work with the webcam. You just set the wait time, which is the time in which no video is being recorded. The longer the wait time, the faster the plant will appear to grow. The shorter the wait time, the more gradual the growth will seem.
