harvesting soon, how bad will it smell?

do plants that are hanging and drying in a closet or some cardboard boxes stink more than a plant in full bloom? cause i'm going to have to harvest soon and i won't be able to use my tent with the carbon filter. one of my plants is still way behind the others that are going to hit their peak ripeness soon.

if the plants hanging to dry are going to stink as bad i want to know before its too late so i can plan ahead.

how bad though? i see a lot of people just throw their bud in boxes instead of hanging in a tent. is a carbon filter necessary for drying bud? i thought i could get away with harvesting a bit at a time and managing the smell from that with odor killers.

I'd advise a carbon filter. You can make one relatively cheap. There are some DIY's on here I think.

They are gonna smell three times worse then when they were alive. Just like a skunk.

Damn shit used to keep me awake at night. Would start getting nose bleeds and green boogers from it. Couldn't wait for the day this shit was dry enough to seal into jars.
