can anybody help me out with this?, i have picked bud an hung to dry but the problem is its dry but its spongy kinda real delicate now i have it in an open brown bag??? then im putting it in jars is this right? and it dont have a good smell either this was hydro btw 1st grow as well

just because hairs are white dont mean shit dif strains grow diff.

I don't even bother to check my trics until the hairs start turning red, you are right, each strain does grow different but I have yet to have a strain be ready while the hairs are still white. I used to go by mainly tric color but found that even by week 6 I could visually see amber trics, the plants are still nowhere near being done.
Sometimes when harvesting you have to decide if it is worth the effort to trim off those small little white/yellow flowers
that often grow on lower or less well-lit areas. Go ahead and take those little nugs as ALL WHITE HAIRS WILL TURN RED
AS SOON AS THEY ARE CUT. Go for it, I do.
