Hey All,
As you guys know this is my 2nd grow and I have 6 plants flowering. About 10 days ago I harvested 2 of the 6 plants because >75% of the pistils had changed to orange, and trichomes were all cloudy. I didnt see any amber ones but was afraid to wait too long. So harvested 2 and have it drying.
I tried some and it smoked great - not too harsh and stayed lit fine. Has an earthy taste to it and didnt think I got very high from one bowl. Maybe I cut these too early??
So here are the remaining plants that have not been harvested. Decided to wait a bit longer on these and wanted to get opinions.
It also seems to have lost a lot of that weed smell and now just smells "green". For drying, I'm using a closet with a 4" carbon filter and fan just setting in the room on the floor. The stems are hanging from shelves several feet above the filter/fan, so nondorect air blowing right on the bud. This closet is in the basement so temps are steady 68-71 degrees and RH is holding steady at 52%.
Tips and suggestions appreciated - thanks!
