Hello everybody so this is my 1st grow ever and I have been researching how to dry and cure.fornthe best results anyone everybody please give.me your input and knowledge. I'm in az so were very hot right now what's the best way to dry should I trim fan leaves and sugar leaves or should i dry first then trim. What's the best temperature and humidity level do I want. Should I dry with a fan. I have a swamp cooler so it's not as cold and it's super dry outside right now. Should I dry in a room with ac do I want to add a humidifier

Dry in a box five days, jar with boveda, 75f 50%rh.

Any other suggestion gets shot down by noobs.

you should get a hygrometer/thermometer and put it in a closet in your house and see what the temperature and humidity are in there.

ideal is around 65F and 50% humidity. in these conditions properly grown buds will dry in 7-10 days.
if its over 80 id recommend using AC and if its under 30% humidity you might benefit from a humidifier, but i dont have much experience with that. i'd imagine you dont want it misting on the buds. also dont want fans blowing directly on buds either.

there is a whole subforum on this topic

What do you mean
Its just bud, you hang it on a line in a room that gets some air and isnt damp and it dries after one week. Leave it be and it will be tasty not green and harsh in another week. You dont have to jar at this point but its great for storing.

Everyone else is going to want you to adjust humidity temps airflow suggest closets tents bags boxes, require ac's, boveda, jarring before two weeks is up and the iminent threat of curing not working under 55% as well as overdried bud from not jarring at the exact point in drying and humidity.

I just skipped to the end and said dry in a box at 55% 75f then jar with boveda at day five as the most popular method you will hear at the moment to save time.

I just slow dry and then jar. I don't do anything else like burping multiple times a day, fiddling with hygrometers, etc... I like my weed more on the fresher side as well. I don't like months old cured bud. I use old bud for dry ice hash or I give it away. But that's just me.

I do a clean trim and dry meaning I trim off the sugar leaves but being in Arizona it would probably be best to leave them to help slow down the drying process.
