Harvested!

Finally harvested this sativa, after drying & curing, came out with half a pound. I tasted different parts and figured out which were the best, and set them aside.. 3 oz worth. The other 5 oz, I bho'd to make a 5er of honey! I didn't expect that much.. 30" tube of 1.5" diameter, and about a quart of 'tane. THEN, I flushed the tube with isopropanol 99%, and put everything from the tube into a jar and leveled it with more iso, and had it sit in the jar at room temp while the pre-filter bho was winterizing in iso. Then I did the reduction of the bho, using two casserole dishes (big and small, big one had hot water and placed on "keep warm" hot plate, small one inside big one with the solvent mix).. I used the extra-thick razors (the ones for drywall etc), and used two to scrape off eachother.. Had to freeze the pile I made so I could cut them into strips to fit in the 5er, and used the side of my kettle of hot water to melt it down inside the 5er. After scraping what I could out of the casserole, I ran the 2nd batch of the very very green mix to clean up and reclaim what I couldn't get, and that filled a pud. I haven't tried the 5er, but I did 2 BT's from the pud and got a nice high, so I figure the bho is gonna rock. Just wanted to share, and thank everyone for their contributions to help me figure out how to do this for the first time... I was gonna just toss the remains after the bho batch, but I figured wtf I'll just do an iso soak and see whats left over... I'm glad I did. Really harsh but reminded me of the old days when pot oil was plentiful and pot itself wasn't.. was really surprised when I pulled waps and smelled it, its exactly like I remember.. made me wonder if thats what the people did who made it back then, make honey first and then sell the crap leftovers! 2 bt's and I didn't want a 3rd.
