These buds look ready but I have the option of harvesting them tommarow or in a week from today. Suggestions?

Interesting take on it. I've decided to chop it because they just seem to be at their peak and I've had a bit of bud rot already. If the bottom branches can go longer, ill leave em.compromise, chop the tops that are ready and let the rest cook another week
I have a similar sativa. Just let her go until the frost hits. You'll be thankful you did. I usually keep the plant in the ground and harvest as I trim. I don't have to worry about bud rot though. Good luckThese buds look ready but I have the option of harvesting them tommarow or in a week from today. Suggestions?
Funny you should say that because today has been on and off drizzle into tomorrow morning and night temps are about mid 40s with. I think the staged harvest concept is great since it is the best of both options.Harvesting the tops early is a good way to reduce damage from mold/rot. Sometimes this includes the top buds of the lower branches. Whenever you expect cool temperatures and rain for a few days you can harvest those denser areas before it hits. The less developed buds at the lower section will be more resistant to infection because they are still small and airy. Then hopefully after the damp weather it will warm up with sunshine to fill in those lesser debeloped areas. This will increase your total yield.
