I am leaving the jars open BC they did get moist very fast so I'll seal em when I go to bed and check in the morning.

Nice, Buds look great and your trim job looks clean for a rookie! I am surprised they dried in 2 days! Tho the buds are not big and thick. I think it is best to err on the higher end of the final Rh for cure as you can always pull em out of the jar to air dry a bit more but if you let em dry to 55% Rh before jarring you have lost your cure value! I agree with bareback get at least one small hygrometer to track your Rh in the cure jar!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

I dont get much 'cure value', for me its just the final step in the drying process. I like my bud quite dry before i cure, for me its a massive no no to try and cure bud that still holds too much moisture.

You can just take your buds start weight and weigh it before jaring to find out moisture content without any hygrometer, then weigh every few days to monitor your cure...

Right, I totally agree...My point is that if you let in initially dry to a point where it is 55% Rh or less you have lost that jar "curing value"

I will jar it with 2 hygrometers in 2 seperate jars for 24 hrs to get a base reading. If it is 70% or lower I will leave it as it is and start the cure process. If it is above 70% I will take it out of the jar and air it for 24 hrs and usually it will then be below 70% to start the cure.

Anything above 70% and you risk mold! I am not confident enough in my "eyeballing and feeling" of the flower moisture content to NOT use a hygrometer...and maybe I am just a bit anal about my process and end product!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Also guys I believe your right about them not being dry enough to fix this I emptied all 6 jars into a cardboard box and IMA let it sit for a few hours then return it to jars how's that sounds

And the only thing that is pathetic is the new growth just looks like it may be the beginning of some kinda problem. I gave it a Lil water and I'll see if anything changes.
