Harvest

I'm going to chop my plants at the weekend, I've got a drying rack that hangs up,when I put the plants on the rack do I hang it in the tent to dry with the fans on? And do I need any heat in their as its in the attic and gets quite cold up their. When they re on the rack how often do I check them to make sure their not to dry I need advice please I'm really nervous doin this I don't want to ruin them.

I try and dry with temps around 65. I run a small fan circulating the air not, blowing directly on them. I leave buds out 3 days then jar and start the cure. Good luck!

You want to try and prolong the drying period for as long as possible, i try to shoot for at least 4-5 days and that can even be cutting it close. Lower temps and higher humidity can help enable your buds to dry for a longer period of time but be sure to watch for mold. 3 days seems a little quick to me, the longer you can prolong the drying period for the better your buds will taste and smoke.
