ThatTh 1 of my blue dream. Not going to go crazy on it. Just want to see the difference. Of the 2.
I just started the molasses last week but I went through a lot. I got the 12oz grandmas bottle and it’s half gone from 1 feeding. I did 2 tablespoons per gallon and fed each plant a gallon.

There’s not a strict timeline. I wouldn’t be holding onto an idea that it should be done in X number of weeks in flower. While 12 sounds long, I’ve heard some strains take that long. They’re individual plants and each can take it’s own time. Check daily or every other day with the loupe and cut when they’re ideal.

Also, no dis on your friend but how long someone has been doing something isn’t necessarily an indication of doing something correctly or being an expert. Coming from someone with several other hobbies, as this is true in any hobby, it’s the old timers especially that can be stubbornly set in their ways with outdated information, bad habits, and old wives tales. Your best bet is always to take in info from several reliable sources and compare what each said, do your own research, then decide for yourself.

Thank you for your input. It is hard telling by pictures if it's ready for harvest. As far as my buddy goes, I take his advice and also the advice of others in this forum. He too is learning. I actually fim'd 2 of my plants and asked him about it. He never heard of it. It's definitely a learning curve.

Perfect example!! There’s always more to learn. I had a friend who has been growing forever too and didn’t want to listen to a damn thing I said our first grow together. I did all the actual growing. He learned really quickly that I’m a research junkie and many of the ideas I had were good ones (many ideas I got from sitting back and reading threads here). He would talk all the shit in the world to me and then showoff the plants I grew to people and compliment me to them, despite in private swearing I did everything wrong. The most stressful grow ever, I refuse to do it again haha.

I think “is it harvest time?” Is like women trying to decide if they’re in labor, “Is that a contraction?” You may think (even swear!) its time 50 different occasions, but when it’s really time you KNOW.

Nice. Yeah my next grow I'll do a little more experimenting. As for now I fim and compare to the ones I haven't fim'd. I give molasses in the flower stage. Waiting on a 60x120x microscope to see thrichomes better than my 30x60x one.
