Harvest Time?

Hello all,

My first ever plants have flowered - yes!
I've started harvesting as i was told that once they've flowered it's time to pick them, they'd been flowering for about 3-4 weeks so i figured it was time. Now i'm not so sure that they are ready after things i've read since - any advice?

yeah i've cut some - not all though!
I should have come on here before - learning by mistakes as usual!
I presume it's ok to smoke the early ones?

yeah you can still dry and smoke, wont be amazing
dont worry about it just leave everything else for abitt longer n toke on that while you wait ?

read up on the strain to get a rough estimate of how many weeks of flower, i let all strains go a minimum 9 weeks, as even the 7 week strains usually take about 9 weeks, wot they say on the site is basically there results under optimum conditions,, my green poisons 7 weeks n there gona need 2/3 weeks on top off that.

yea i let sativas go 9-11 weeks and indicas usually 8-10 but never 3-4 weeks
laughing buddha even takes like 14 weeks

Thanks everyone,

thankfully the bits i have harvested are smokable and also rather pleasant :-P
can only mean better things to come!
