Harvest Time Odor / Smell

I intend to put together a grow tent in my garage this fall and I've got a question about odor/smell. I'll be using a carbon filter inside the tent to scrub the air but what can I do to combat smell in when it's harvest time and the plants are being trimmed in my garage. Should I have an additional carbon filter in my garage?

welcome to RIU.

are you meaning while you are trimming, etc., or once you have it hanging to dry? if while trimming, i trim in the middle of the night and then it's in an area where the carbon filter can take care of the smell while drying. if you don't have an enclosed area - like your tent when you're done - then you will need a place for it to dry without stinking up the area.

Turn the light off in the tent, put a chair in there n trim in the tent with the filter running etc, either that or just open as many doors/windows in garage as possible lol smell only gets bad when its allowed to build up etc

Yeah just leave something open even if you're garage door is open just very slightly, it only gets noticeable if it's closed when my friend opens his grown room door it's like getting smacked in the face with a mad dank smell rest of the house is fine
