What's the fastest yet best way to dry the buds? How long does it take by the cut & hang upside down method? I was going to use a cardboard box with string in a well ventaliated room with a window. Will that be ok and how long do you guesstimate?

I usually hang for 2 days the bag it up in paper bags for 2-3 days and then I jar it. Opening the bags and jars a few times a day until desired dryness.

i have too many plants to trim by hand and hang dry.. i just put them through the trim machine and lay the bud out on screens with lots of fans and a dehumidifier.. 75% dry after 3 days.. then paper bag it a few times to cure it.. total time, 5 - 6 days

water curing takes 7 days so its not the "fastest" way to dry. Best way is to use dehumidifier, and to keep the quality make sure the temp doesn't go above 79degree.

yeah it cant be too cold or they wont dry, or too hot or you'll over dry them, around 25 - 28c/77 - 80f is good

I am going to hang for a few days then jar and open method. It sounds like the easiest and basically what I was planing.

Thanks for the tips and ideas!

Watch out for mould when curing dude! Make sure you open the jars at least once or twice a day for a few minutes and turn the buds over so they are not all sticking together. You need to do this until the buds are dry through. You know they are fully dry/cured when the stems snap instead of bend.

I nearly lost a couple of ounces to mould while curing my first harvest, but fortunatley I caught it just in time and only threw away part of a mouldy bud. You can easily destroy your harvest in 24 hours if you're not careful, it spreads real quick!! Good luck!
