Looks mostly cloudy with some clear, but need to see a proper pic of plants because I suspect a lot of white unretracted pistils

waiting on my ipad to charge so I can clip my loupe to it So I can check on mine. But you still have bright white pistils too. Still have a couple weeks I guess.

Just checking first time grower so to be clear the trichomes have to be cloudy and the pistols have to all be turned

like 80% turned.. and looking for all milky trichomes.. a hint of amber here and there.

Pistils go orange and retract as the buds swell up, once that's happened start checking trichs on the buds, not sugar leafs, that's the window of selection based on your preference. Cloudy with 10-20% amber is my preference.

Based on what they just said I'd say a couple days I see amber in some spots but I'm just a first timer so maybe a pro could chime in here

Ya it's a bit tricky to do by eye. I imagine it gets much easier to tell with some experience.
