Harvest question

A lot of my trichomes are turning milky (when viewed at 60x), which I thought signified time to harvest. But from the looks of the flowers it looks like they're a ways from full maturity. Any input?

Not even close. When learning to read trichs you may mistake clear for milky. You'll know if they're mostly milky because some will be amber or orange looking.
 
You still have a ways to go, and yes, why did you remove all the fan leaves, that's what makes your plant grow and your flowers to bloom, not a good idea.
 
Right on. not a good idea to strip her down like that.
You stress the plant, increase the flower time, diminish yield.

Your trichromes, just by looking at the mass are milky.
That's doesn't really matter any more. since you stripped her.
when she's done she's done. all I can say it's going to be a long time now.

Keep in mind the buds don't need the light. your leaves do.
the bigger the leaf the more energy it produces for the plant to grow buds.
Your buds are end product. the bud leaves that grow around the bud are just there to protect the buds
keeping the buds viable for pollination.

Your fan leaves will yellow, and die later in flower. all on there own.

Chalk it up as experience for your nest grow.

Ouch. I trimmed the fans per recommendation of my buddy. I wish I had asked here first. So did I sabotage my grow? Or is there still a chance (even though it will take much longer now)?
 
Your yield is going to suffer but it will not add time when the plant hits its window and the buds mature you're done regardless of how you grow it, this window will not stray by more than a week or two. Just let them finish up and call it lesson learned
 
this is a rookie mistake. never scope them out until the white hairs at least 50 % of them turn brown. then start scoping them out. keep in mind they will go through stages of growth even though under the scope they look milky in a week more of them will look clear , idk why they do this just a fact. so stop scoping them and look at the white hairs on the bud then scope them.
 
You need at least a few more weeks, as your buds have not even begun to swell up and mature.
Buds tend to puff-up noticeably as they near senescence. You want to harvest just before this occurs.
Removing the leaves was a huge mistake.
You will do better next go round!

I've looked online people say it's kind of ghost towny and there's a prison but Idk my goal is to move somewhere with mild Winters where pot is legal so I don't have many choices lol, anyway always good to make a friends ahead of time! Any work out that way? I watch that prospectors show and i'm seriously jealous lol I wish I could grow pot and mine gemstones for a living :)
 
Also looked at Cortez same reaction people say it's kind of run down has that through town feeling not a destination spot

Some will debate (Ed Rosenthal) never to remove the fan leaves. In my experience the amount of leaves you have to remove depends on your strain, space, light penetration, and whether or not I'm battling pests.

From the photos you posted I don't believe you will get enough new foliage in time, when the very small leaves around the buds start to yellow then you've done all you can and just take it down. I do hope it bOUNCEs back though, good luck!
