Harvest Pictures Grown Under 2 Cxa3070's

Nicely done!

I have been looking into LED's. Where did you get the lights?

What temps did the room stay at? How hot is the light operating at? What strain?
Thank you.

bought the cobs from Mouser.com got the drivers from Jameco.com
this was a summer grow most days here ( we had a hot summer too), with just the 2 cobs there is an average temp rise of 7 or 8 degrees, but I can adjust the temp rise by making the exhaust fan move faster or slower, temps from 2 cobs is pretty small,
the strain is Donkey Kong

Bonjour
Is Donkey Kong's a parent of King Kong? (Kk mix of kronic X?? I do not remember...)
Could you give the weight in gr please!? 22onces wet you mean!?
Nice grow...
Have a great day ★

623 grams, very very wet, looked in on them today, two days into drying, they have shrunk some, very dense, not nearly as wet I am hoping for at least y two ounces dry,, I'll post a picture tomorrow before they go into brown paper bags

did you use a microscope to see if they were ready? I think I see quite a few white, erect pistils. Nice, though! Hope for a smoke report! :=)
yes I used a loupe to look at the flowers, they were slightly milky,, leaves were dieing off really fast, also the flower time is listed as 56 to 70 days and I was in the middle at 63 days,, donkey kong is sativa dom,, 10 weeks would have been good, this grow had a few issues along the way , growing pains,, lol, so I am happy to have made it where I am, I hope to turn about half of it into butter for edibles, if it doesnt smoke well, hopefully it eats well,
Since Oregon started legal sales last week, some of the rec legal stores are selling top shelf smoke for 5 dollars per gram, and the Croptober harvests have not flooded the market yet, kinda cool
in another week or so I will report final weight on a scale, with pictures and, a smoke report,

Edit, I do agree with you, it would have been nice to have let them go longer, but There were sings of the mites coming back, and they were going to take over and spin webs, so i cut down while i still saw only a few mites moving, but there were lots of eggs ready to hatch

~75% of the mass of almost all living cells is water ,
thus 75% of the mass all the types of tissues that those cells make is actually water ...

After drying a plant tissue (like flower buds ) ,a small percentage of water ,
still remains at the "dried " product .
Normally -on normal atmospheric conditions -
is virtually impossible to have a 100% dried herb .
Still ,there's 5-10% water,as moisture , in the dried herb ...

Say ,to be optimistic , that the final product of Mr .Tim Fox ,
is a very well dried and cured ,superb herb .
That still contains 10% of moisture .
So from the initial wet weight what is left is 100% - ( 75% -10%) = 35% ...

0,35 * 623 = ~218 grams / 7.7 ounces ,dried ( with ~10% moisture )

187 grams / 6.6 ounces ,at " worst case" ...

Just my rough guess ,there ...

;)

Cheers.
:peace:

after 36 hours the buds/ stems all went from 22 ounces very wet to 6.9 ounces after 3 days at 70 degrees in the dark
after trimming out some tree trunks the bud weight is 5.8 ounces
with .9 ounces in tree trunks,, ( a few pieces flew across the room)
as you can also see there are some small limbs to be cut out after brown paper bagged, but it keeps the popcorn buds together for easy grabbing out of the sack in 3 more days
