Thanks for all the love guys! You know I mostly hang around here still just to help out when I can. When I found RIU there were lots of great growers that helped me learn over the years both about growing and about dealing with people
, so I try to pass on the love and info I can. The life I live and friends I have literally wouldn't exist if it wasn't for RIU so it'll always have a warm spot in my heart.
To the OP you have ATLEAST 4-5 weeks left before you should even be thinking about looking at the trichomes or harvesting, its not showing any signs of maturity as a whole plant. Any of those amber trichomes you are seeing now where either damaged or just some of the very first trichomes formed. You want to wait until your plant is showing you multiple signs of maturity before you even think about looking at trichomes, because frankly trichomes are tricky to read unless you REALLY know what you are looking at.
Right now just keep your girl happy and healthy. Some sativa dom hybrids plants will take 12-14 weeks, so just sit back, smoke a bowl and enjoy the process. No matter what you've read, most plants need at least 10 weeks, and there are VERY FEW plants that will finish in 8 like the breeders claim.
