i am approaching harvest so i'm in the middle of building a few dry boxes out of cardboard, i'm wondering if this is an ok design. the boxes are pretty small (2'x2'x2') so i can't fit a fan inside. instead i plan to cut a holes on the bottom sides of each box so air from a small fan that will be placed outside will pass through

yup sounds good dude. when i used a box i just had one side of the top of the box open for a few hrs to blow air in with fan. it was a guitar hero band box lol

i came across that thread and thought that was a really well made box. i think i won't stick an exhaust fan on mine though, only because last time my trees dried way too fast, and i was using a tent also with an exhaust fan running.

this time i want to do it right and i probably won't use an exhaust fan in the future. i'll onlyh ave some fans moving air around the buds (not directly on them) and not exchanging the air constantly out of the dry box/tent, because that seems to dry everything too quick.
