ok, i'll add something substantive. payback is a bitch, eh? that's what the GOP gets for doing the same obstructionist bullshit. see how stupid of a game that is? wouldn't it be better to just be a big boy and cooperate and compromise?
Compromise? You've got to be fucking kidding. Here's a perfect example of recent compromise between Progressives and Conservatives.
Progs: We want to increase the debt limit by $2.4 trillion dollars this year.
Cons: We want to cut the national debt by a measly $2.4 trillion over the next 10 years.
Profs: Ok, we'll settle for a $1.4 trillion increase this year.
Cons: That's unacceptable, we want to lower the deficit and you're still asking for a suicidal, massive increase. That's not compromise.
Main Stream Media Headline: Saintly Democrats offer fair compromise, Obstructionist Republicans refuse.
Then of course, under media pressure and pressure from a public that has been duped by endless parroting of the Progressive's position from the MSM, the Republican leadership caves. While the actual Conservatives in the party shake their heads in disbelief at the absurdity of it all.
That's compromise to a Progressive.
