Hard Candies.?!

So I Am thinking of using skunkpharmresearch.com 's recipes and tutorials on their QWET and do it with 151 Rum and cook it down and then "deglaze" with like tequila (only liquor i have currently besides the 151 which is for the wash...) or rum, and add in Sugar and Local Raw Honey and cook it down a bit on real low and Then just pour it into little cap holes in powdered sugar. I Am trying to get hard candies like jolly rancher, so i can just pop one and salivate on it.!

Any suggestions or recipes would be much appreciated.?

2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
1-2 ounces marijuana tincture
Candy or Lollipop molds
Your choice of food coloring and flavoring

Instructions:

1. Add sugar, syrup, and water to a pot on the stove over medium-heat. Stir until all ingredients have dissolved and bring to a boil.
2. Bring to 300 degrees (F) and slowly stir in color and flavorings.
3. Turn off heat and as quickly as possible stir in marijuana tincture.*
4. Pour into candy or lollipop molds.*

* The liquid will very quickly turn into solid form so you must as well move very quickly! Don’t get high before hand

I use silicon ice cube trays. I have different shapes, like ducks, fish, footballs. I dust them w/ powdered sugar and pour in the hot candy. When they cool I roll them in more powdered sugar. 300° makes them hard like jolly ranchers, but 270° makes them a little softer. THC-a decarboxylates into THC better at 250°

Awesome thanks brother! Now you are baking them at 270? Or are you talking about the candy temp? And I really like the silicon trays!

I don't bake them I boil the sugar mixture to 270°, remove from heat, stir in my tincture, and then pour in to my ice cube trays, then let them cool. Termperatures like 300° will give you jolly rancher, 270° will give like a hard sugar daddy taffy like consistency. 240° will make like a more malleable caramel.
