I think the best way depends on a lot of factors, but keeping plants outdoors from the beginning of May until October is the best way to grow outdoor weed imo. I'm really baked so I'm sorry if I sound weird. I used General Hydroponics FloraSeries (about half of what is recommended on the bottle) and started using Advanced Nutrients Big Bud when she started flowering. I like having them in pots above ground so pests/rodents can't munch on the stalk or leaves.
