Remember guys this isnt national bbq day. Lets do some actual remembering and appreciating. Thanks to all my friends and family that have served or still are. Glad some of you are home safe and hoping the rest get back the same way.

World War 2 was a real war...
I took time yesterday to call a friend of mine who takes care of his dad a 86 year old ww 2 vetran asked him how he was feeling and if he was up for some company and my buddy said come on over I spent 4 hours over there listening to his stories it was cool . The enthusiasm that man has when speaking about those times and some of them were terrible still brings a tear to his eyes and I must say I teared up on several occasions as well It was a great honor being able to spend that time with him and to hear all he had to say.........to me he is a real american hero even though he is broken down and must rely on a wheelchair to get around in and his health is fading I could see the pride in in face as he spoke about the country he loves.
Thanks for a good day Mr. Story!

Fuck yeah, would love to meet one one day, I only seen their stories on TV and each one was just so amazing, like right out of a comic book kind of stories.
