I did allot of research on happy frog before using it. I like to see for myself. I had heard that happy frog is very hot and I took the plunge, I like to know my limits to find a happy medium. So I started my seedlings in happy frog soil straight out of the bag to see if they would in fact burn up.. not the case at all. These things took off like crazy I had used 5 bags of soil in all the pots. I will add I grew regular and autoflower from seedling. Ph run off was 6.8 I've seen allot of different run offs so I would test ph run off from soil. I use advanced nutrients entire line and I use half of what is recommended after 2 weeks from seedlings I start nutes and have had no issue. I have seen allot of negative things about bud candy so I'm scared to use it but I have it lol. I mainly use nirvana, jungle juice, b52, connsouir a and b and most importantly I love voodoo juice, those roots since I started using it. I know every plant is different but I have ordered endless strains ,blackberry, blueberry, xtreme haze, grand daddy purple, guerrilla glue the list goes on and I have had no issues whatsoever, I use smart pots and they need watered daily when they start flower and every other day in veg. I pulled a couple males after pollination and the roots were ridiculous lol. I use bottled water and adjust the ph with lemon juice and have had zero problem with seedlings in happy frog I switch to tap water after 3 nodes. With smart pots they dont hold water well but that's a good thing in my opinion I can't speak for any other pot that's all I use. I do not transplant any more I start in original pot. I dig down 3 inches, put seedling tap root in soil, as it grows taller I push soil to stalk. I do this because it grows major roots up the stalk and makes them a beast.hope this helps
