It's not stretching now, It's just going to take awhile to reach size. Keep your lights at right height and you can avoid stretch.

many strains will stretch during flower regardless of light used its genetics

with a limited amount of light i personally would try to keep the plant short perhaps 1.5 ft when finished
and create an even canopy perhaps a screen or lst would help

peace

I know Sativa's tend to grow taller, and I have heard of this one stretching for some and not for other's. I personally have not had any problems of over stretching that I can recall, maybe a little long ago. I hope to get lucky and just normal stretch(growth). Time will tell, I may go for shorter. We'll see.

You know what might make a good stretch experiment? Take some of those 10,000-12,000K "whites" and use them just during the stretch. I use 2 x 20 watt multis to keep my moms and start clones. Nodal space is ridiculously tight, but with a very slow growth rate. I wonder if you took about 50 to 100 watts of some decently made ones, how would it effect the stretch during flowering? Might fuckin kill 'em dead, but you'll never know till u try :).

I thought about putting them under some White flourecents, they tend to sprout up faster I believe. That's what I normally use for Vegging.

Hello, I am still growing the Pineapple Chunk, she is on day 49 from seed. I think she's growing a little faster now that she's recovered from toppings. The light has been on full throttle for awhile now. I also have a 10.0 26 watt UVB bulb on 12/12. Have converted to reverse osmosis for all my plant's health sake. It's growing pretty tight still, I hope it loosenes up just a little more before I put in bloom. Im kinda buzzed right now. Taking forever to type. Can't load any pictures get error message. Have a Happy day.

Looking great medicine, subbed, interested to see what these hans panels can do in flowering. She has some nice side shoots, if you want to open her up a bit, she won't do it on her own but you can just tie (LST) the side shoots to the sides and spread her legs a bit, low stress, won't hurt anything and allow more light down...

Thanks, I just put to Bloom yesterday and was thinking about getting more light in there. This Hans panel grew it pretty tight while recouping from topping but it is starting to speed up the last week. It may stretch some now I do believe. Making some cannabutter now, I'm out of cookies. Be back with some pics.

Oh she'll stretch, not necessarily in the literal sense, node/density probably won't change much, that's where some LST helps. The next 2-3 weeks keep a closer eye on water uptake, they get very thirsty, strain dependent but pretty consistent across strains that they'll suck up water/nutes at a significantly increased rate during stretch, this is where/when you take advantage of it and increase water/feed to maximize eventual size/yield... Extra light certainly won't hurt if you have anything available, even some LED bulbs would help. This is the good stage where you start the final run towards the end game :)

DSCF1003.JPG DSCF1001.JPG DSCF1002.JPGShe's 56 day's from seed, and on 7th day of Bloom. About 15 inches now, started at around 12 inches when I went to 12/12. Did some major stretching, I am doing some bending to keep the 2 worst stretchers in place. Should be showing Bud by next week. I did some more reading on this and it stretches from 50% up to 250% according to some reviews, we'll see.

DSC02859.JPG DSC02857.JPG DSC02858.JPG This is the Pineapple chunk at 2 weeks flowering. I broke it a little when I opened it up a couple week's ago. I keep duct tape close by just in case. Starting to form those tastey Buds now. It is supposed to be a 55-60 day plant but from what I read it may be 11 weeks or so. I'll find out later.

DSC02864.JPG wHAT THE f&*% I am having trouble getting pictures and words loaded together and get tired of retyping. Anyway here it is at 21 days and it looks like 14 because I trimmed it in its first week even though I knew better. so it wont be quite as good as it should. I tried to kick myself in ass but couldn't reach.
