Hanna EC soil Tester help!

Hello, I recently purchased an Hanna soil EC H198331conductivity & temperature tester/soil probe along with its calibration solution. Lol how in the heck do you use an EC tester? I searched everywhere for videos on the use and calibration but cant find anything. Im wondering what mode I should be in (mS/cm, dS/m, uS/cm)

Does anyone have information on how to use it?

The manual is with it is it not? Took me 2 min to find it at the Hanna site.

I use ppm pens but I believe you want the mS/cm scale.

To be honest I have no idea why I even bought it I have the commercial bluelab truncheon I just wanted to see what was going on in my soil not the runoff, at the time I bought a bluelab soil PH/temp probe also which I really like... Thanks!

Tell me about it. I've amassed enough stuff to start up a small commercial grow just in time to go broke trying to sell pot in this market.

Blew around a grand on stuff to get into organics and now just want to go back to DWC and soilless with hydro nutes to start getting decent yields again with a lot less f'ing around. Mainly just for breeding and growing enough meds for myself and a few friends.

I had bought 1 from Hanna directly and hated it sent it back days later. The real soil conductivity has a stainless rod with a hard point that can drive directly into the rhizosphere, that one you got is for slurry testing. The manual should tell you how, it's really easy to do but been to long for me to recall. Blue lab makes a nice one too.

@Texas Growing Crew The one i got does have a hard stainless rod and point and is ment for pushing directly into soil. I got the directions i just misplaced them when i initially opened it. All good now and works fine with no issues.
