Since it seems to be a topic today I suspect its from the same Michigan seed club others are trying to promote
Just a wild guess though
No it's not, it's from Freak Genetics, Gorilla Hammer x Pure Michigan, I got it as a freebie with my last order from D.C. Seed Exchange, planted 2, went 1 & 1,
The Female is a nice looking plant, it's Indica leaning, tight short branching and has a crinkly leaf structure, will be taking clones off her. Hope it turns out to be good.

I'm a bit versed in the snow belt region as to a few clubs, co-op's and private endeavors. Co-op and private are non profit driven. Clubs require membership and dues if clubs at all. Funny how these "breeders" have other crosses going with the recent genetics commercially viable in Michigan.
Sounds like a rush to market for get rich on seeds.

Buy seeds of the "latest and greatest". Sorry but "Farmer Pete" makes meat products in Michigan. Uncle Pete is plagiarizing.

+rep Thanks Kgrim.
So, tracing it back, Gorilla Hammer= Original Glue (GG4) x Jordan of the Ilands Blackberry Hammer ( Jinx proof Genetics 9# hammer x JOTI's Blackberry Kush)
Pure Michigan= Oreoz x Mendobreath F2
Going to be a very interesting plant, it has 5 bladed leaves, but they stack on top of one another and make it look like 3 blades that are crinkled. Inner branches hug the main stalk tight. The male that I pitched was a nice plant too, I should have grown it out and kept some pollen, it had super short internode spacing, probably double what all my other plants have, and had a real nice bushy structure. Gonna clone this female because it's "unique", and only have 3 seeds left of it because they were "freebies". Gonna be running it outdoors in the swamp this year. If it ever gets released, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a pack, based solely on the 2 phenotypes that I've had.
Can't wait to try some of the smoke from this one.

Here are the pics of the female.
Freak Genetics- Gorilla Hammer x Pure Michigan
Ain't nothing "pure Michigan" there. And I'm sure the tourism board loves the stealing of our motto. 50+ years here and I never heard of the parents, or one at least until GG4. Kids stop perping. "Red Bud" in the 80's and White Widow and Northern Lights are pure Michigan now after 15-20 years of insanely impressive liking to our soils.

Pay RIU to advertise this scam. And the plants stretch like males as shown. Oh boy.

Oh boy, "they stretch like males". I don't care what you think. I'll go and grow some bastardized strain like White widow, or Northern lights, which the originals are long gone, and you can buy one of those bastardized strains anywhere, becuase they all, have their own versions.
Pure Michigan was made by the Fresh Coast Seed company, IN Michigan.
I could care less if you've never heard of the parents, wasn't hard for me to find the lineage.
Fresh Coast, Freak Genetics, Jordan of the Islands, Jinx Proof, JOTI, I've heard of all the breeders of the parents, and quite a few other breeders have used Fresh Coasts breed in their crosses, so it's not like it's something that hasn't been around.
Take it up with Fresh Coast if you don't like them using our motto, not me, I didn't name it.
The OP asked a question, and I answered, because I happen to have the breed growing he asked about.
You sound like Matt Riot, go and grow some of his pollen chucking flavor of the month club.
And I Don't have to pay RIU a dime for any advertising, I'm not trying to sell anything, just replying to a question.
Glad your happy with what you grow, cause I'm quite happy with what I grow, stretching and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t know what you have against uncle Pete, but you are terribly wrong about him, 1st he does not sell meat, sorry different guy, second he has nothing to do with hammer mitten, read through his website and his story it is amazing, he won strain of the year a couple years ago with trench buddy , it is massive yield with such a great flavor. All of his strains are cold climate friendly, He does not promote or advertise, A friend of a friend bought clones from him two or three years ago and they were the best thing in everybody’s crop, last year I ordered trench buddy, purple ape cake, and funeral cake, they are the hands down the best three strains I grew .
