hairy balls???

i have a 4 mango plant that was veg'd for 4 weeks then flipped to 12/12 so i thought i had 1 male and 3 females, just what i wanted (going for seeds) well the male has been showing pre flowers then little balls appeared so i am in the clear or so i thought about 5 days ago some of the balls started getting white hairs so wtf. i googled pics of hermaphrodites and none looked like what i have but something isn't right. i will try to post pics latter.
 
That's a weird one huh? I hope someone with experience can shed some light on this. The only thing I know about hairy balls is when I have them my GF shaves em.
 
that shit looks hermied to fuck! sorry, excuse my language, but i've never seen it so male dominant before.
 
balls came first then came the hair kind of like when i was 12 hahahahaha but all jokes aside the little plant is fucked huh. (i used the hairy ball thread tittle because i knew it would be an attention grabber)
 
It's a male hermy if it has balls with hairs. The male signs came first then hairs started growing? Probably want to toss it if you don't want seeds.
Funny thing about male hermies, soma has a particular fondness about them. Something to do with them having a lot more thc than your average male. You could probably look up the article where he talks about it.

i'm no breeder, but with all due respect, that's bullshit. the seeds would carry the hermie gene. when plants are stressed into hermaphrodites to create femenized seeds, it's through other methods than creating more hermies.
 
also, femenized seeds are not 100% female, they are just much more likely to be. do not know any percentage likelihood.

Sheesh! For some reason I thought only females hermied. DUH! Thanks for shining the light on my obviouly dulled brain. LOL!
 
so what you all are saying is that if i leave the hermi in with the ladies he/she will pollinate them and the seeds that come out of that breeding will be mostly female but those females will have a greater chance of turning into hermis if they become stressed.

Even when making feminized seeds the plants forced to turn, by using colloidal silver or by rodelization, are not that female plants that are pollinated and used to make feminized seeds. Those females, just like a hermie, have been stressed, they have been abused, and if used to make seeds they too will pass on hermie genetics.

The pollen from females where colloidal silver or rodelization have been used to force them to produce male sexual organs, bananas, is collected and used to pollinate a different crop of females. Even then some hermie tendencies can be, and are, passed on. That is why there are so many hermies from feminized seeds. But by using the pollen to pollinate females that are not stressed, that were not abused, it minimizes the passing on of hermie traits as much as is possible.
