Hairs but no buds! Help!

So my plant has started to grow her hairs, typical start of budding. The plant is still shooting leaves. Its been about a week and a half and I have seen no growth of buds but the tips of her hairs are starting to turn a light pink color. The light is at 12/12. I water every other time with diluted fertilizer. My plant light is good. What is going on here? :cuss:

how big are the plants to the size of the pots...my friend did a grow last year with about 1 gallon sized pots, letting them grow to big for the pots by a long shot (maybe 5 feet during flowering)....was watering daily, had hair and leaves but no bud.....true story, he harvested it premature and basically threw it away after he saw the demand for it was shall we say not happening

my theory is overgrown plants in tiny pots would probably only partially bud....though im sure someone has a more solid and probably correct answer....this is just my own take

best wishes

ooh i didnt read the week and a half into flowering part....yeah give it at least a month before you see anything impressive buddy....patience a virtue

Patience huh...damnit all.. It looks to be a 3 gallon pot. I had he in an 8 incher, the rooting is nice! She is only 2feet tall, has 3 leaves which are huge and smells when she wants to. The bitch is a total misfit! There are pictures of her on my profile. I'll put new ones up within the hour.

i cant prove it but every plant i grew small to medium size had more compact buds... the larger taller 5 foot + plants were sucky... but maybe thats just how those seeds grew genetically still cant tell... but i just think keeping them medium makles them more compact, idk anyone?

or because you were able to get more light to each individual part with smaller plants maybe?

Was your plant grown from seed or clone?
I'v noticed that your plant only has 3 finger leafs, you may want to look into why that is???

Are you trying to go 12/12 from seed or clone?
