Hair test

Ok I just had a hair test for a new job. I stopped smoking about 6 weeks ago. I am very fit and run 2-3miles daily. They took a clip from my bread. It's only about an inch tops more like 3/4in. I trim it every 2-5 days. i didnt expect to have a hair test so was unprepared. So my questions are; how long after you stop somking does it stop depositing in hair? I know that it will be in the hair till its cut. What do you guys think my chances are?

Yes it will stay in your hair for as long as you have that hair.

Guess I'm just stressing. I know I trim my bread often but if the hair from when I smoked was there an it would be only a little bit of the hair if any then would that fail me even if the rest of the hair was clean?
