The others would check to see where i was going or be in a certain area watching. i even tested this to make sure it was not paranoia by double checking everything each person does. When i was looking for a metal sheet of mesh wire a guy rolled his cart right next to me in the isle. After i left the isle to go back to a different part of the store he would stay at one section of the store and when i returned to the area he would be following me again. This same guy checked out across from me at a different register at the same time only buying a Mountain Dew. And one group of 2 was behind me at the check out buying something really random and cheap yet they were there for over an hour. like i said before this is not easy to explain and i dont expect any of you to understand it. please i do not need to be ridiculed.
about a month later a helicopter was flying right next to my window let me remind you im in a 2 story apt so someone flying that low next to a window is on to something.

If you're trying to be discreet what are you doing roaming around home depot for over an hour. I don't think they were saying, "Look at this guy and his 1 bag of soil. I bet he's growing pot!". I think it was more like, "Check out this weirdo who keeps wandering through the store. I bet he's trying to steal something!". Good luck growing man, relax, at the end of the day it's just weed.

Agreed, go in, grab the cart - grab your shit, check out, get home and set the stuff up.. no need to wander up and down aisles for an hour with 1 bag, it does make you look quite suspicious.. would to me, anyway.

Do you not think, maybe in cop school, they were like "yeah when youre spying on someone, try not to fly your huge ass helicopter 20 metres away from them"

And why exactly would being 20 metres vs 200 metres make any difference to them? Do you think someone buys a helicopter but no optics to go in it?

Do you even know how much aviation fuel costs? Hiring a highly trained pilot, copilot, navigator/observer?

What sequence of events would lead the police to be like "the obvious next course of action is to use a helicopter to look in his window" rather than just....sending the police to your house?


Jheez. Anyone who complains about police choppers being a waste of money should take into consideration the number of people stopping their crime coz a cop farts in their direction.

My grow tent at the time was 84.4F and a room temp of 78F. I am sure they could see a big heated tent sitting in a cooled room. -isomo

You sound sketchy, so asset protection/security is obviously going to follow you around, it's their job. Buying supplies at a hardware store is not illegal, they can't call the cops on you unless you steal or hurt somebody. They're not the cops, so respect them and they will leave you alone.

at the time i was using 4 50w big ass cfl's. i couldn't even touch them without being burnt.

I can imagine it, but FLIR -through- a house is not allowed as evidence in a court of law, nor is it grounds for any form of no-knock or a sneak and peek.

if they had seen anything from the chopper they would have had a couple dudes rope down on you from the chopper and straight into your window... thats why I always sleep with my pants and shoes on so I can get a running start out of my crib. Have a planed escape route.. it would be too late to chop and flush those plants down.

The biggest point of the story is the cops NEVER CAME ..he talks like his suspicion was warranted ..

And second putting ya plants in the trash bag in the dryer ..was a not a smart move ..they would have searched your ENTIRE house ..so u would have still gotten a cultivation charge ..AND trying to hide evidence if the cops wanted to be a dixk ..

I would NEVER wanna have u as a friend ..ur the type of guy to spill the beans as soon as a cop looks at u ..I could only imagine if they put pressure on ..

What's sad is you keep talking as ur right ..and ur dead wrong ..it's funny how everything just stopped right after u cut the plants up really ? Helicopters in ur window ? ..if I were u I wouldn't even bother to grow ..just finish college or whatever and then try again ..bc right now ur mind state isn't even ready for that type of life .......

How exactly do we know YOU aren't a cop or narc of some sort? Trying to scare us into throwing our plants in the laundry everytime we hear a chopper. Shame on you, officer.

You looked like you were trying to steal something.

The funny part about that, the heli story.. although it may have been partially real (only in terms of the heli flying) was exaggerated on all other accounts, and no one in their right mind would believe that a Bell is threading the needle and getting that close to a building at any point.

Edit: I only know of a few pilots that could almost do it, and they're military.. are you growing cannabis to support Al-Queda? Sure it was a police heli and not an Apache gunship?
