Had to chop another last night.. F'in RAIN!!!

sup guys.. i went back last night to check on 2 of mine.. one looked alright but the other did not look good! alright so i lost almost all the big fan leaves in the plant awhile ago.. still grew good.. last night idk what happened to it.. all the small fan leaves turned brown and died.. i knew this would cause serious mold if it wasnt attented to right away becuase it was suppose to rain the next two days also.. so i brought it in my house.. my original plan was to just trim all the dead leaves off but when i got it insde i realized that might not have worked.. so if i would have just cut the dead leaves the only leaves that would be left were the bud leaves.. and still id rather cut alittle early then loose the whole thing to mold.. maby the roots got infected? or cuz of all the rain it was just to saturated.. the base of them stem had like little black spots on it. maby a fungus or something? only use nutes once in the past week. it was the 2nd dose of cha ching.. after i gave it last friday things went downhill from there.. i took a pic of the dead leaves on it maby some one here knows what it was.. im thinking eaither the roots or the stem may have got infected cuz of all the marks on the base of it..

edit-- also cropped the photos to make them bigger, look a few posts down

thanks

I didnt think the 'trimmed' is fully trimmed. Still full of leaves and stuff to cut off. You want to make those leaves with no crystals on them go away as best as you can, when it dries you'll see em stick out like a sore thumb otherwise.

As for what happened to the first picture, its really more of a "who cares" since its not even 1 gram dry of a piece of bud. Most growers just throw it away or make hash out of that stuff. Pics of the ENTIRE plant are what helps us fix problems, partial manicured bud pictures dont provide any use whatsoever... :(

It all takes time man, took me about a year and a half to become what I consider a moderate growing skill.

yeah planning on going through them again tonight.. i was up till 3 trimming last night and i had work at 7.. theres only so much one man can do haha..

No this happened to the entire plant.. top colas and all.. dunno i think its just cuz that bucket never got a chance to really dry out.. also what happens when a plant is past its life cycle.. to the leaves die like that or do the buds die first

can anyone id the cause of this? both times with cha ching i used 1/4 tsp. 1st dose was sat and 2nd was friday night.. everyone says to do once a week and that its potent stuff. think thats what did it?

I dont grow outside, but I've seen a bunch of ppl post similar problem. The rainy weather is giving alot ppl fits and rotting the bud. Outdoor growers suggest cutting the rot out, but seems like chopping early is the best way to handle it. Once the bud starts to rot, its almost impossible to stop, so best chop and save what you got. I know, it sucks. Not sure if thats your problem, but sounds and looks like it. Wait for an expereinced outdoor grower to come along, I'm sure they can tell you whats up for sure.

We *really* need an entire plants pictures to begin to be able to help......... WHERE the problem is on the plant is usually required to diagnose a real issue..... I'm guessing its your rain, but I'm not an outdoors gal........

Need to see pics, rain isn't really a problem if you just shake the water off the buds and the plant isn't in the cold for too long.

I'm thinking it's the cha-ching. A lot of strains can't take any amount of PK boosters. The TGA strains I'm growing can barely handle 1/2 tsp of Ginormous which is 0-18-16. I stopped cus it was browning the hair tips.

And cha-ching is like 0-50-50 or something ridiculous? I don't know why people feed their plants that shit, they don't need so much PK. Probably only 8 foot trees could handle that much P/K. The only difference I've found between veg and bloom is that in bloom, plants actually don't use less N but they use a little bit more of N, P, & K but not that much.
