h2o2 watering regimen...

So...I have a confession...

I water with h2o2 3% at 5ml a gallon at least every other water...I use 2.5gal perlite Hempy buckets.. I find this to work well for me...the plants seem to like it, and it keeps the dreaded algae to a minimum....I guess what this brings me to is other experienced growers opinions of this...good or bad...I know I sat my self up for ridicule with this one...so I'm prepared...lol...thanks for reading!

I used h2o2 in my DWC resses back before I started using teas, but I have never had a real reason to use them in my hempy buckets. I grow in the black 3.5gal buckets I got at the hydro shop and put a layer of hydroton on top so the perlite won't green. I know that little bit of greening on top don't hurt shit, but it is just unsightly to me. Are you using translucent pots or talking about the green that develops on the surface? Also fuck anyone who wants to ridicule you. If it works for you and your plants that is all that matters.

And yes I use black buckets too...I just got the idea from when I ran 5 gal bubblers...and I figured it couldnt hurt to add oxygen to the water and kill bacteria(good n bad), knowing a full synthetic grow shouldn't need any bacteria to function properly...and I only truly let my hempys spit run off once a week. So adding peroxide to my in between feedings makes me feel better about it. Lol.

Well I've been using these same buckets for about 2 years now and every time I harvest the roots are bone white and perfect. I've never even seen the slightest indication of root disease. I do the same thing as you with the hempy run off. During flower when they are drinking like mad i'll add about a 1/4-1/2 gal after work every day, but Saturday i'll fill them up and try for about 15-20% runoff. Seems to work pretty damn good considering my current string of 7 mostly flawless grows.
