I have a 4" inline and 12" filter (the same one you posted) It scrubs all of the air out of a 4x4x6 tent regardless of how many plants are in it. I run White Widow which is a stinky strain and I get zero smell from the HTG 4" inline/fan combo. My last run was 8 mature veg plants and ZERO smell in my room with the HTG 4"inline/filter combo. PERIOD invest in it, it will sort you out.

You want pics, look at my grow journal after I installed the veg tent

DO you think it would be OK to use 4" ducting with 6" inline fan? The holes in my tent are 5"......... really annoying

I still don't know if i should get a 6" or 4" carbon filter

You have a 6". But my tent is a little smaller and it's hard to fit ducting on both sides of the reflector..
Just use some zip ties to pull it around your 4" tubing dude, that's what I did. No need for a larger fan, just buy the HTG filter and run your 4" tubing. Your tent should sag in (negative pressure) if it doesn't then you need to 1-Close some passive intakes or 2-buy a bigger fan

Setup similar to this if you can. I sleep in this room and there is zero smell even with 15 plants in my flower room which is right next to this using a 6'inline/filter combo from HTG

Hope this helps

If your grow is smaller than this, just use this as an idea. Negative pressure is your friend when you want to control smell
Thats beautiful...Clean and simple, exact setup I'm going for. What Brand/model of tent is that?
