....in front of 3044 empty white chairs. That's how many children killed by guns over the years would have graduated with the class of 2021.

(they told him he was doing a rehearsal and sound check)

It's always struck me as odd that many government school teachers, administrators and proponents claim to be vehemently "against gun violence".
Many of these same people claim that government ("public") schools have a mission to teach kids "bullying is bad".

They never address how much they LIKE guns, when it comes to how government school funding is derived.
It seems the blatant contradiction of funding schools via threats of violence is somehow "not bullying".

Government school proponents LOVE guns. That's a fact. If I'm wrong, I'd sure like to see the evidence.

The tRUmp lover thinks dead children is fun.
You see, that's an erroneous assumption and yet another failed "argument".

The way to reduce school related gun violence is to understand and teach the difference between offensive force and defensive force. Voluntary versus involuntary, etc.

It's wrong to use or threaten the use of guns offensively. You seem to get that when it comes to school shootings, but not when it comes to school funding. If you want to end "gun violence" don't sanction the use of it while also decrying it. It's sort of a lame position to defend, but that's the one you apparently hold.

I maintain, government school proponents LOVE guns, can you offer an argument to refute that ?

The deplorable thinks he's clever, he's just deplorable.
I'm afraid that's not a good argument either.

A deplorable is a person worthy of condemnation. For pointing out the contradiction in the "school shootings" , "must take guns" lame argument, I am not being deplorable. I am being cognizant and forthright.

You, on the other hand are being evasive, unimaginative and cognitively dissonant. Maybe even incontinent.
Have you checked your diapers ?

You don't get to claim something as fact and then demand others disprove your assertion. Classic troll move.
And don't get me started on that dumbass bile about teachers secretly loving guns because of.......funding? In the most critically underfunded public programs?

Shut up, troll

Ahh.. the "For the Children" argument. The exact same argument which was used to delay cannabis legalization for who knows how many decades.
Any time I see the "Think of the Children!!!" argument being used I assume it is being trotted out because the underlying logic of the argument is flawed crap and they must resort to an emotional appeal.

Our system doesn't give a flying fuck about the children and anyone who pulls that argument out is attempting to manipulate and misdirect. The system doesn't give a fuck about anything other than power and any time it it acts like it does it is merely a ruse to gain more power at your expense.

Firearms deaths are dwarfed by so many other preventable deaths where we can all agree what needs to be done. Why do you wallow in divisive topics which will not be resolved in our lifetime? It's pointless, counterproductive and it shows your brain has been hijacked and taken for a ride.

If the democrats win seats in the congress in 2022, then they can begin the process of gun regulation and control, among other things, like a domestic terrorist watch list. If they can win again from the assembled lunatics and crooks that the republicans have become, expect more changes with more wins, like HR-1 and voting rights to level the playing field and increase ballot access. Gun regulation is popular with super majority support, even a majority of gun owners support it, it's pretty low hanging fruit and besides the NRA screwed themselves to death.
