well i'm just waiting for the riots, alot of places closed and are closing for the verdict.

anyone see the story about the cop near bart in his car chasing a 13 year old? he rolled his window down and shot his tazer at him. even the cops around here do drive by's, wtf are we coming to?

my town doesn't have cop. if you call no one answers, if you call 911 they tell you to go online and file a report. lol at least i know they aren't coming to raid me

involuntary manslaughter. the defendant will most likely walk on time served. 2 - 4 years or probation otherwise.

the first confrontation has occurred. police cars were kicked and attacked. they retreated to be replaced by full geared riot cops. lines are being drawn as both sides stand their ground.

time and time again the courts have shown they feel cops are above the law

gonna be some V for vendetta shit one day (the little girl scene)

Cops get away with murder every single day here in this country. How much longer are we gonna allow this to go on as a society?

It's really comes down to being a personal question for each individual, and you have to ask yourself, how much am I willing to take, how much do I allow myself to be bullied and pushed around before I strike back. At some point you have to stand up for yourself and others, sometimes that means violence has to happen. Sadly, it is inevitable in this life, with the nature of people being what it is. :peace:

Cops DO kill people everyday. under the protection of being a COP. deny it all you want. still changes nothing. ;)

Who's denying anything?

I'm just saying... cops are people.

Just cause they wear a badge doesn't mean they're perfect, and just because they're wearing a badge doesn't mean they're a good person.

Bad people are all over the place, a lot of cops are shot every week... don't see anyone rioting over that, they just suck it up and keep doing their job.

As for this guy, I think he made a big mistake, and he's gonna be paying for it for the rest of his life, in or out of prison.

i do think this cop got charged because this kid was black. the fear of riots and race violence made them charge him. don't get me wrong i'm glad they did, but if it was a white kid with no chance of riots i think he would have been fired and bart would have been sued. people are shot fairly often in completely wrong or questionable ways by cops. i think this set the stage for some accountability by law enforcement, now the ones that enforce the law aren't above it.
