Gun Free Home

I have to agree. Let's drop the idea of forcing. It ain't the 9th.

Sort of the opposite: My dad and i were discussing, would it be rude to bring a handgun into a Gun Free Home?
Would you leave if they demanded it? It sort of ended like this, good naturally, of course.

Doer: Well, Dad, do you not allow a gun in the house?
Dad: You know I don't. Did you bring that pistol?
Doer: Dad, there is just no way for you to know, is there?
Dad: Well, I'm asking!
Doer: Dad, that's not an answer you are going to get from me.
Dad: I'll just make you leave.
Doer: Gladly
Dad: Fine! Not just yet, OK?

I agree these hypocrites need to quit riding the coattails of law abiding gun owners and drop the ambiguity ,Proudly Display those "Gun Free Home" signs in the front window or the front yard, I'm sure there are thousands of Rapists,theives and murderers who would enjoy a stress free work environment.

Furthermore, what makes you think that a thief would take the sign as valid? It might be just as likely that I am one of those who yearn for the chance to "protect my stuff" with a weapon. I could be "inviting" the felon into my home just for the oportunity to shoot him dead in the interest of home protection and in so doing become a hero to my gun toting friends.
